Apprenticeship Scheme

Cooney Marine Training Academy

We realised there is a shortage of highly skilled marine engineers, so we set up our training academy, new Cooney apprentices join the company every year, this enables us to continue to bring on experienced engineers, and also help the local community.

Our training staff have years of training experience, and our senior Manager used to train apprentices and engineering companies country wide.

We are EAL (awarding body) accredited, EAL are the experts in training and teaching Engineering apprenticeships in the U.K. We are one of the very few companies to be accredited by EAL with their own training academy in the U.K.
